Sacramento Valley Chorus

sings throughout the entire year.

We get together each Wednesday to learn, sing and review our repertoire in preparation for performances throughout the year and for competition. Our annual performances include:

Regional gatherings called AIM, Adventures in Music. This is an educational weekend event, and we are often included in the entertainment portion of the program.

Singing Valentines is a program we have each year to bring in some revenue and provide a gift to loved ones during the season.

Friends and Family Preview Performance is an event we have had as part of our preparation for competition. It gives our family and friends an opportunity to cheer us on and for us to have a "dress rehearsal".

Regional Competition in April or May, usually at The Nugget Casino Resort in Reno, Nevada.

River Cats game is our opportunity to sing the National Anthem for the baseball fans. Many of our singers stay for the game which aids in their donations to the Susan G. Kolman Fund for Cancer.

California State Fair is a fun event we do to have the opportunity to visit the fair, to add revenue to our accounts and to be visible in our community.

SVC Annual Show: Saturday, November 13, 2016 This is one of our major fundraisers.

Christmas Performances: The chorus usually performs in the California State Capital Rotunda Holiday Concert Series in December (12-14-16 at 11:30am). After this traditional holiday event, the chorus sings at various assisted living homes in the Sacramento area to bring the joy of the season to the residents at each location.

The fees for our performances vary. Our Performance Manager, Stefanie Carson, will be happy to discuss with you any details of a performance that you might have in mind. We love to perform and can usually accommodate your large, small, or intermediate needs! Please email her at

What Else Do We Do?:

Holiday parties: Festive a cappella renditions of your holiday favorites to add to the merriment of your seasonal get-togethers.

Corporate events: Planning some entertainment for your convention? Schedule one of our quartets to illustrate the power of harmony!

Weddings: Allow one of our quartets to honor you with a serenade at your wedding!

Sporting events: The Sacramento Valley Chorus would be happy to sing the National Anthem before a large audience at your upcoming game!
